Missed Call Service Provider in India for Leads, Opt-ins and Feedback
Print one number on your ad, hoarding or product pack and let people give a missed call. As a missed call service provider in India, we give you a dedicated number that logs every caller, sends an automatic SMS reply and passes the lead to your CRM or inbox.

A missed call service provider in India gives your business a dedicated number. When someone calls it, the call ends without being answered, so the caller pays nothing for it, and the system records their number. Our service can then send an automatic SMS reply on a DLT template, forward the lead to your URL and email your team.
Dedicated campaign number
Each missed call service gets its own number to print on ads and packs.
Automatic SMS reply
A fixed text or a DLT template goes to every caller.
Leads to your URL
Each missed call is forwarded to your webhook, CRM or Google Sheet.
Email alerts and reports
Your team can get email alerts and a report of every caller.
What happens when someone gives a missed call
The caller dials your dedicated number. The phone rings, and the system ends the call without answering it. Because the call never connects, the caller is not charged for it, which is why missed calls became such a familiar way to respond to ads in India. All the caller sees is a call that ended. On our side, the platform records the caller's number against your missed call service, so nobody has to copy it from a phone.
What happens next is up to you. The platform can send an automatic SMS reply, forward the call to your own URL as a webhook and email your team. Each service also has an expiry date, so a contest or product launch number ends when the campaign does. Call reports list every missed call, which helps your team follow up on leads in order and compare how each campaign performed.
Where missed call campaigns work well
Missed calls suit any place where typing a message or filling a form is too much effort. A person standing near a hoarding, reading a newspaper or holding your product can respond in a few seconds. It works on every mobile phone, including basic feature phones, and needs no data connection, no app and no English. That makes it useful for rural buyers, older customers and busy shoppers alike.
Use one number per purpose so your reports stay clean. A builder can print one number on hoardings and another in newspaper ads, then compare which brought more enquiries. A restaurant can use separate numbers for good, average and poor ratings. Each extra number is a separate missed call service, so decide how many you need before you ask us for a quote.
- Lead capture from ads, hoardings, radio spots and packaging
- Opt-in for offers or updates, with the source recorded
- Mobile number verification for dealers, members or sign-ups
- Feedback and ratings, with one number for each answer
- Voting and contests at events or during TV and radio shows
- Product information on request, such as a price list or dealer list

Choosing a missed call service provider in India
Most vendors can give you a number. The difference shows after the call. Ask whether the auto-reply can use your own DLT header and approved template, whether each call can reach your CRM through a webhook, whether the team gets an email, and whether reports show every caller. Also ask how the service ends when a campaign is over, so you do not keep paying for a number nobody uses.
Our missed call service includes a dedicated number, an automatic SMS reply as a fixed message or a DLT template, forwarding of each missed call to your URL, email notification, a service expiry date and call reports. Missed call pricing is on request, because it depends on the number and the campaign length. Auto-reply SMS are charged like other SMS on your account: ₹0.20 on Starter or ₹0.15 on Business per delivered SMS, plus 18% GST.
DLT rules for the automatic SMS reply
In India the auto-reply is a commercial SMS, so it needs a registered Principal Entity, a 6-character header and an approved content template on a DLT portal. The text sent must match the template, with only the {#var#} parts changing, and each variable can hold up to 30 characters. Any link or call-back number in the reply must be whitelisted, because operators have blocked unlisted URLs since 1 October 2024.
The template category decides who receives the reply and when. A reply that carries an offer is promotional: it goes out under a -P header, only to non-DND numbers or people who gave digital consent, and only between 10am and 9pm. A plain acknowledgement, or the information the caller asked for, may qualify as a service message under a -S header. The DLT operator decides at approval, and we help you word the template.
Consent, privacy and the WhatsApp follow-up
A missed call is a clear signal that the person chose to contact you. Keep a record of the time, the number they called and the ad that prompted it. Under the DPDP Act 2023 you should be able to show why you hold someone's number and for what purpose. A missed call does not replace consent recorded on the DLT platform, so promotional SMS follow-ups still follow DND and timing rules. Act quickly on any request to stop.
Many buyers prefer to continue on WhatsApp. One way is to put your WhatsApp number, whitelisted on DLT, in the auto-reply and invite the caller to send Hi, which opens a chat you can answer. Another is to print opt-in wording next to the number. Meta's opt-in policy requires that people know they will get WhatsApp messages and from which business, so check the wording with us before printing. Marketing templates cost ₹0.88 to ₹0.98 each on our plans.

Frequently asked questions
What is a missed call service?
A missed call service gives your business a dedicated number that people call and then hang up, or that ends the call on its own without answering. The system records the caller's number and can reply by SMS, alert your team and send the lead to your software. Businesses print the number on ads, packs and posters to collect enquiries, opt-ins, feedback and votes.
Is the caller charged for a missed call?
No. Calls are billed only once they are answered, and a missed call service never answers, so the call does not connect and the caller spends no balance. That is the main reason missed calls work so well in India. The SMS reply they receive is also free for them, as incoming SMS are on Indian mobile plans.
Do I need DLT registration for the auto-reply SMS?
Yes. The automatic reply is a commercial SMS, so your business needs a Principal Entity registration, a header and an approved template on a DLT portal. The entity fee is about ₹5,900 a year on the major portals, and headers and templates are usually free. Approval usually takes 2 to 7 working days, so register the reply before your ads go live.
Does a missed call count as consent for promotional SMS?
It shows that the person contacted you, and you should keep that record. It is not the same as digital consent registered on the DLT platform, so promotional messages still go only to non-DND numbers between 10am and 9pm. Keep the first reply informational, ask clearly if you want to send offers later, and stop messaging anyone who asks you to.
Can missed calls go straight into my CRM?
Yes. Give us a webhook URL and each missed call is forwarded to it, so your CRM, app or an automation tool such as Zapier or Pabbly Connect can create a lead or add a row to Google Sheets. You can also turn on email notification for the sales team and check the call reports in the panel to make sure no caller was missed.
How much does a missed call service cost?
Missed call pricing is on request, because it depends on the number and how long the campaign runs. Auto-reply SMS are charged at your SMS rate, ₹0.20 per delivered SMS on Starter or ₹0.15 on Business, plus 18% GST. DLT operator fees are separate.
