SMS Gateway Provider USA Senders Can Register and Scale
As an SMS gateway provider USA senders can register with, we deliver OTPs, order alerts and marketing texts from a registered 10DLC or verified toll-free number, with help on registration, STOP handling and API setup.

An SMS gateway provider in the USA delivers A2P texts from registered 10DLC numbers, verified toll-free numbers or short codes. Brand-name sender IDs are not supported, and unregistered 10DLC traffic is blocked. Marketing needs prior consent under the TCPA and a working STOP opt-out. We guide registration and quote rates in INR or USD.

How US business texting works
The US is different from most countries in our coverage. You cannot send from a brand name such as ACMEUSA, because alphanumeric sender IDs are not supported. Business texts come from one of three number types, and each needs some form of registration or verification. We check the current carrier rules with you during onboarding.
- 10DLC: a standard 10-digit number. You register your brand and each campaign, and carriers have blocked unregistered traffic since February 2025.
- Toll-free: an 8XX number that must be verified before sending, good for alerts and customer care.
- Short code: a 5 or 6 digit number for high volumes, with a longer approval of several weeks.
- Lead generation, debt collection and some financial use cases face extra limits or bans.
Consent, STOP and the TCPA
The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and carrier codes of conduct require clear consent before marketing texts, and lawsuits under the TCPA are common. Record when and how each person opted in. Honour STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE and similar keywords straight away, and reply to HELP with your business name and contact details.
Your 10DLC campaign registration asks for sample messages and your opt-in flow, such as a website form with a checkbox. A clear, honest opt-in description speeds up approval. Sending times also matter. Keep marketing texts within normal daytime hours in the recipient's own time zone.

Who uses our SMS gateway provider USA service
Our US clients are often SaaS companies, e-commerce brands and service firms with engineering or support teams in India. They want one SMS API for India, the US and other countries. AvanceZone Technology has run bulk SMS since 2000 and routes US traffic through global carrier partners.
Our sales hours of 9am to 7pm IST fall overnight in the US, roughly 10:30pm to 8:30am Eastern. Your integration questions are answered while you sleep, and we schedule calls in your morning. The platform runs 24x7.
When to use WhatsApp instead
WhatsApp is less dominant in the US than in Asia or the Gulf, but it is popular with Hispanic, Indian and other international communities. If your customers already use it, the WhatsApp Business API supports rich messages and does not need 10DLC registration. We are a Meta Tech Provider and can run WhatsApp and SMS from one account, with SMS as the fallback for customers who are not on WhatsApp.
US pricing
US SMS is priced per message and quoted by destination, in INR or USD on request. Carrier registration and verification fees are separate and passed through at cost. Plan for registration time before launch. Standard 10DLC campaigns are often approved quickly, while toll-free verification and special use cases can take longer. Short codes take the longest, often several weeks, so start early if you need one.
Other countries we send to
We also send SMS and WhatsApp messages to customers abroad, with help on each country's sender ID and consent rules.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use an alphanumeric sender ID in the USA?
No. US carriers do not support alphanumeric sender IDs such as ACMEUSA. Business texts must come from a registered 10DLC number, a verified toll-free number or a short code. Put your business name at the start of the message so recipients know who is texting.
What is 10DLC registration?
10DLC is the US system for business texting from standard 10-digit numbers. You register your brand, including legal name and tax ID, then register each campaign with its use case, sample messages and opt-in method. Carriers have blocked unregistered 10DLC traffic since February 2025. We help prepare the submission.
Do I need consent to text US customers?
Yes. Under the TCPA and carrier rules, you need clear prior consent, especially for marketing texts. Record how and when each person opted in, include opt-out instructions and honour STOP at once. This is general guidance, so check your specific obligations with a US legal adviser.
Can a company outside the US register for 10DLC?
Generally yes. Foreign businesses can register a brand using their own country's registration and tax details, although some campaign types face more checks. Toll-free verification is another route. Tell us where your company is registered and we will confirm the best option.
How much does US SMS cost?
US SMS is charged per message and quoted by destination, in INR or USD on request. Carrier registration, verification and any carrier surcharges are separate. Share your monthly volume, use case and preferred number type, and we will send a written quote.
