SMS Alerts for Manufacturing and Dealers Across Your Supply Chain
Our SMS alerts for manufacturing and dealers keep distributors informed on dispatches, invoices and schemes, remind end customers about product servicing, and reach plant staff with shift and safety notices, from your ERP or a simple Excel upload.

Manufacturers use SMS to send dispatch and invoice alerts to dealers, outstanding payment reminders, scheme and price updates, warranty registration confirmations, periodic service reminders to end customers, and shift, maintenance or safety alerts to plant staff. Dealer and customer account messages use the service route. New scheme promotions to non-dealers are promotional.

Why SMS alerts for manufacturing and dealers matter in Coimbatore and Tiruppur
Coimbatore's pump, motor, foundry and auto component makers and Tiruppur's knitwear units run on large networks of dealers, distributors and job workers. Many of these partners run small shops, and SMS alerts for manufacturing and dealers reach them without asking anyone to install a portal app.
A pump manufacturer can send each dealer an SMS when an invoice is raised, with the LR number and truck details. The same company can remind farmers who registered a warranty that their motor is due for servicing before summer, and tell them the nearest authorised service centre.
Message types and DLT routes for manufacturers
Most factory and dealer messages relate to an existing business relationship and go on the service route.
- Order received, invoice raised, dispatch and LR details: service implicit, -S header.
- Outstanding balance and credit limit alerts to dealers: service implicit.
- Warranty registration and service due reminders to buyers: service implicit.
- Shift change, maintenance shutdown, safety drill to employees: service implicit.
- New product launch to prospective dealers or farmers: promotional, -P header, 10am to 9pm.

Dealer schemes, price changes and compliance
Quarterly schemes and price revisions to your appointed dealers are part of an existing trade relationship. Keep the template factual: scheme name, period and a link to the circular on your own whitelisted domain. If you also want to reach prospective dealers or retail customers, register a separate promotional template and send only to consented or non-DND numbers.
For plant staff, collect mobile numbers at joining with consent for work alerts. Do not send salary amounts or disciplinary notices in bulk messages. Tamil and Hindi Unicode templates help migrant and local workers read safety notices in their own language.
Getting dealers to act on your messages
Dealers receive many calls and circulars from different brands. Short, specific SMS gets their attention: the invoice number, amount and vehicle in one line, or the outstanding balance with the due date. Avoid long scheme descriptions in SMS and link to the full circular instead.
Two-way SMS lets dealers reply with a keyword, such as ORDER or CALL, which lands in your panel or CRM for the sales officer to follow up. Track how many dealers clear outstanding balances on time after reminders start, using your own accounts data. For job workers in Tiruppur's knitting and dyeing clusters, a pickup and delivery SMS reduces phone calls to the production office.
Auto component suppliers working to customer schedules can also use SMS for internal escalations. When a line stops or a quality hold is raised, the shift supervisor, quality head and plant manager get the same alert at once.
When to add WhatsApp or voice for factories
WhatsApp works well for sending dealer price lists, scheme posters and product catalogues as PDFs, and for collecting orders from dealers by chat. For shop floor emergencies, combine SMS with an automated voice call so workers on noisy floors still get the alert. Keep SMS as the base channel for dispatch and payment alerts, since it creates a simple record your accounts team can trace.

Frequently asked questions
Can manufacturers send SMS to dealers on DND?
Yes, for messages about their existing business with you. Invoice, dispatch, outstanding and scheme updates to appointed dealers are service messages and reach DND numbers with an approved template. Promotions to new prospects are promotional and need consent or non-DND numbers, sent between 10am and 9pm.
How do service reminder SMS work for pumps and machines?
When a customer registers a warranty, store the purchase date and model in your system. Schedule an SMS before each service interval with the serial number and the nearest service centre. Customers who service on time tend to raise fewer breakdown complaints, which helps your service network plan visits.
Can we send SMS directly from Tally or our ERP?
Yes. Any ERP that can call an HTTP URL can send SMS through our API, including custom Tally add-ons and SAP. If your ERP cannot call an API, export a daily Excel sheet of dispatches and upload it on our panel with a mapped template.
Is there local support in Coimbatore?
Yes. SMS Gateway Providers is operated by AvanceZone Technology from Sulur, Coimbatore, and has been in bulk SMS since 2000. Sales and support are available Monday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm IST, by phone and WhatsApp on +91 95851 60363.
What does it cost for a manufacturer?
Dealer and staff alerts are billed per delivered SMS at ₹0.20 on Starter or ₹0.15 on Business, plus 18% GST. There is no monthly fee. Groups with several plants or brands can request Enterprise pricing with sub-accounts and a dedicated account manager.
