What the SMS price includes
Every SMS plan includes the web panel, Excel and CSV upload, delivery reports, Unicode in Indian languages, scheduling and DLT registration help at no service charge. The plans differ by volume and features.
Plan rules: the minimum purchase is 5,000 SMS. SMS credits are valid for one year from the date of purchase, and when you renew before they expire, your unused credits carry over. We do not offer free trial credits.
- Starter, ₹0.20 per SMS: up to 10,000 SMS a month, basic API, email support.
- Business, ₹0.15 per SMS: up to 1,00,000 SMS a month, full API, priority support, advanced analytics, custom sender IDs.

GST and per-delivered billing
All SMS prices are shown before 18% GST. On the Business plan, ₹0.15 becomes ₹0.177 per SMS after tax. Your invoice shows GST separately, so a GST-registered business can talk to its accountant about input tax credit.
You are billed for SMS delivered to the handset. Your delivery report lists the status of each number, so you can check the bill against the report line by line. DLT fees are paid to the operator and are not part of our price.
How to estimate your bulk SMS price in India each month
Take a diagnostic lab in Tiruppur that sends 40,000 single-part report alerts a month on the Business plan. The cost is 40,000 × ₹0.15 = ₹6,000. GST at 18% adds ₹1,080, so the monthly bill is ₹7,080.
Now say half of those messages run past 160 characters and split into two parts. That is 20,000 single-part SMS plus 20,000 two-part SMS, or 60,000 parts. The bill becomes ₹9,000 plus ₹1,620 GST, or ₹10,620. Trimming long messages is the easiest way to cut cost. If your volume grows past 1,00,000 a month, ask us for an Enterprise quote.
Unicode and long-message counting
Operators bill per SMS part, and so do we. The part size depends on the characters you use, so check each template in our free SMS character counter before you register it on DLT.
- English (GSM-7): 160 characters in one part, 153 per part once split.
- Unicode (Tamil, Hindi, emoji): 70 characters in one part, 67 per part once split.
- A single emoji or curly quote turns the whole message into Unicode.
- Each {#var#} counts at its real length when sent, up to 30 characters.
Choosing a WhatsApp Business API plan
WhatsApp plans have a monthly fee, a one-time setup fee and per-message rates charged on Meta-confirmed delivery. Starter costs ₹999 a month with marketing messages at ₹0.98. Growth costs ₹2,499 with marketing at ₹0.92. Pro costs ₹4,999 with marketing at ₹0.88. Service replies inside the 24-hour window are free for the first 1,000 per number each month.
Pick by volume and features. At 10,000 marketing messages a month, Starter costs ₹10,799 and Growth costs ₹11,699, so Starter is cheaper. Growth pays off above about 25,000 marketing messages a month, or when you need two numbers, drip campaigns or ad attribution.

What is the price of bulk SMS in India?

Is GST included in the SMS price?
No. Our listed SMS prices exclude GST, which is charged at 18% and shown separately on your invoice. For example, ₹0.15 per SMS becomes ₹0.177 after GST. If your business is GST registered, check with your accountant whether you can claim input tax credit on it.
Do I pay for SMS that are not delivered?
No. Our SMS plans are billed per delivered SMS. Your delivery report shows the final status of every number, so you can match what you were charged against what reached the handset. Keep your contact lists clean to avoid wasting time on invalid numbers.
Is there a minimum purchase or monthly fee?
The minimum purchase is 5,000 SMS, and there is no monthly platform fee on SMS plans. You recharge the amount you need and use it as you send. WhatsApp Business API plans are different: they carry a monthly fee and a one-time setup fee, plus per-message charges.
How long are SMS credits valid?
SMS credits are valid for one year from the date of purchase. If you renew before they expire, your unused credits carry over, so you do not lose what you have already paid for.
Is there a free trial?
No. We do not offer free trial credits. The smallest purchase is 5,000 SMS, which costs ₹1,000 plus GST at the Starter rate of ₹0.20, so you can test the panel, delivery reports and API with a small first order.
How much does DLT registration cost?
DLT fees are paid to the operator, not to us. Entity registration costs about ₹5,900 including GST one time, or about ₹3,300 on the BSNL portal. Each header costs about ₹590 a year, and templates are free. Our help with the registration is free of service charge.
How are long and Unicode messages charged?
Each SMS part is charged separately. An English message holds 160 characters in one part and 153 per part once split. A Tamil, Hindi or emoji message holds 70 characters, or 67 per part once split. A 200-character English message therefore costs two SMS credits.
