Bulk SMS software: browser panel or desktop download?

Many people look for bulk SMS software as a free download for PC. Desktop tools come in two kinds. Some are only a front end for an SMS provider's gateway, so the messages still travel over that provider's routes. Others send through a SIM card, a GSM modem or an Android phone connected to the computer. Ours belongs to the first kind and is delivered as a web panel, so the sending happens on our platform and your computer only needs a browser.

A browser panel has practical advantages over an installed program. Several staff can log in from different places, with sub-accounts for branches if you need them. There are no updates to install, and no contact lists stuck on one office computer if it fails. You can check a campaign's delivery report from your phone while travelling. All you need is an internet connection and your login.

What you can do in the panel, job by job

The panel follows the order in which you actually run a campaign. You bring in contacts, write a message from an approved template, choose when it goes, and then read the results. Each step works the same way for a 200-number customer list or a 50,000-number dealer list, and saved groups mean the next send to the same people takes only a few clicks.

Personalisation is the part most people underuse. If your Excel sheet has columns for name, due amount and due date, each SMS can carry that customer's own values inside your DLT template. Tamil, Hindi and other Indian languages work through Unicode. Two-way SMS, priced on request, lets customers reply to a long code number, and their replies arrive in your panel.

Pricing per SMS, with no licence or monthly fee

There is no charge for the software itself. You buy SMS credits and pay only for messages that are delivered. Starter costs ₹0.20 per SMS for up to 10,000 a month, Business costs ₹0.15 for up to 1,00,000 a month, and Enterprise is priced for higher volumes with a dedicated account manager. GST at 18% is extra. The minimum purchase is 5,000 SMS, which comes to ₹1,000 plus GST on Starter.

Credits stay valid for one year from purchase, and unused credits carry forward when you renew before they expire. We do not give free test credits, so your first purchase is the 5,000 SMS minimum. DLT registration is a separate operator fee of about ₹5,900 a year for your business entity, while headers and templates are usually free. Our team helps you through DLT registration without a service charge.

SIM-based tools and unregistered routes

Under TRAI's TCCCPR 2018 rules, every business SMS in India needs a registered entity, a header and an approved template on a DLT portal. A message sent from an ordinary SIM card shows a 10-digit number where a header should be, and it carries no registered template. In February 2025 TRAI tightened the rules further. Ordinary 10-digit numbers may not be used for telemarketing, and the time operators have to act on complaints against unregistered senders fell from 30 days to 5.

In practice, a SIM-based tool puts the number at risk of being blocked after complaints, and recipients see an unknown number in place of your brand header. Separately, operators check every business SMS against DLT records, and messages that do not match a registered header and template are blocked. Before you choose any bulk SMS software, ask which DLT-registered routes it uses and whether it gives a delivery report for every number.

API for developers and a reseller panel for agencies

If your billing software, ERP or app should send SMS on its own, use the same account through our API. The simple HTTP API takes a GET or POST request and answers in plain text, which suits older software and ERP add-ons. REST API v2 takes JSON with a Bearer key and your DLT entity and template IDs. An XML API is available too, and delivery reports can be pushed to your own webhook as they arrive.
