International SMS Gateway for Indian Businesses With Global Reach
Send OTPs, booking alerts and shipment updates to customers outside India through our international SMS gateway. Use the same API and panel as your Indian SMS, with delivery reports and country-wise pricing on request.

An international SMS gateway delivers your messages to mobile numbers in other countries through partner networks abroad. Indian exporters, travel firms, colleges and apps use it for OTPs, booking alerts and payment reminders. Sender ID rules change by country, so we confirm them for each destination. International SMS is priced per country on request.

Who needs an international SMS gateway
More Indian businesses now have customers, staff and students outside the country, and SMS is still the one channel every mobile phone supports without an app.
- Textile and engineering exporters updating overseas buyers on shipments
- Travel agencies sending booking and visa updates to customers abroad
- Colleges reaching international applicants and NRI parents
- SaaS and fintech apps sending login OTPs to global users
- Hospitals coordinating with medical travellers before they arrive
How international SMS differs from domestic
India's DLT rules govern messages sent to Indian numbers. Abroad, each country sets its own rules. Some accept alphanumeric sender IDs such as your brand name, some require the sender to be registered in advance, and some allow only numeric senders. Content restrictions, quiet hours and opt-out rules also differ.
We check your destination list before launch and tell you which sender format to expect, so a campaign to the UAE, UK or Singapore does not stall on a registration step you did not know about.

Sending through our international SMS gateway
Numbers must be in international format with the country code, such as +971 for the UAE, +44 for the UK or +1 for the USA. Upload them in Excel or pass them through the API, and the gateway routes each message to the right partner network. Delivery reports come back to your panel or webhook.
For OTPs to foreign users, keep messages in plain GSM-7 text where you can. Unicode cuts each part from 160 characters to 70, which can double the number of parts and the cost of every message.
Tips for reliable delivery abroad
Time zones catch many first-time senders. The Gulf is 1.5 hours behind India, the UK is 4.5 to 5.5 hours behind and the US East Coast is 9.5 to 10.5 hours behind, depending on daylight saving. A campaign sent at 10am IST lands at night in California.
Many apps keep a backup channel for overseas users, such as email or WhatsApp, and trigger it from the delivery report when an SMS fails. Our webhooks make that switch possible without anyone checking by hand.
Students and NRI families often keep an Indian number active while abroad. Ask which number they prefer, because a message to an Indian number follows India's DLT rules and domestic pricing.
- Keep a separate list per country so rates and sender rules stay clear
- Use English or the local language your customers actually read
- Review delivery reports per country after each campaign
Pricing for international SMS
Rates vary widely by country and operator, so international SMS is priced on request. Share your destination countries and expected monthly volume, and our team will send a country-wise rate card. Your Indian SMS on the same account stays at ₹0.20 or ₹0.15 per delivered SMS plus GST, so domestic and overseas traffic can run side by side.
If you send only a few hundred messages abroad each month, tell us that too. Low-volume senders still get a clear rate card and the same delivery reports.

Frequently asked questions
Can I send SMS from India to other countries?
Yes. Our international SMS gateway delivers to mobile numbers in other countries through partner networks. You use the same web panel or API as for Indian SMS, enter numbers with the country code, and receive delivery reports for each message. We confirm sender ID rules for each destination before you launch.
What is the cost of international SMS?
International SMS is priced per country on request, because operator rates abroad vary widely. Share the countries you plan to send to and your monthly volume, and we will send a rate card. Messages sent to Indian numbers on the same account stay at ₹0.20 or ₹0.15 per SMS plus GST.
Do I need DLT registration for international SMS?
DLT registration applies to commercial SMS delivered to Indian mobile numbers. Messages to foreign numbers follow the rules of the destination country instead, which may include their own sender registration. If your campaign also includes Indian numbers, those messages still need your DLT header and approved templates.
Can I use my brand name as the sender ID abroad?
In many countries, yes, using an alphanumeric sender ID of up to 11 characters. Some countries require the sender to be registered in advance, and some allow only numeric senders, in which case the message shows a number instead. We tell you what to expect for each country before you send.
Which number format should I use?
Use the full international format with the country code and no leading zero, for example +971501234567 for the UAE or +447700900123 for the UK. Remove spaces and dashes in your Excel file. Wrongly formatted numbers are the most common cause of failed international messages.
Can I send international OTP SMS?
Yes. Many apps send login and sign-up OTPs to users abroad through the same API they use for India. Keep the text short and in plain English where possible to stay within one 160-character part. Delivery reports on your webhook let your app offer a resend or another channel if needed.
